Though it was a Tamil film, Bharateeyudu went well in Telugu as well. It was Kamal Haasan’s biggest blockbuster to date.
The sequel is being developed by Shankar and Kamal Haasan, some thirty years later. The news of Bharateeyudu 2 has been everywhere since its announcement.
The wait is over, as Bharateeyudu 2 will hit theaters on July 12, 2024. Promotions for Kamal Haasan and Shankar have started, and the first single will be out on May 22.
Aside from Kamal Haasan, the film Bharateeyudu 2 features an ensemble cast that includes: Delhi Ganesh, Thambi Ramaiah, Gulshan Grover, Guru Somasundaram, Samuthirakani, Brahmanandam, Bobby Simha, SJ Suryah, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and Kajal Aggarwal.
The music was composed by Anirudh, the busiest composer.
