Rathnam Review & Rating: Tamil actor Vishal has an immense craze in Telugu. However, for the past few years, he hasn’t delivered an impressive movie. Though his last flick, Mark Antony, did quite well in Tamil and Telugu, his fans weren’t satisfied with that movie. Vishal is known for massive action and now, after a gap, he is back with the Rathnam movie. Rathnam is directed by Singham, and the movie famed Hari and the trailer have impressed the audience. Let’s dive into the in-depth review and know if the film is worth watching or not.
Rathnam Review & Rating
Rathnam seems to have an outdated plotline, as is evident in the trailer. The film is also filled with outdated scenes and unengaging narration. This action film is directed by Hari, who follows fast-paced narration but in this film, we miss his mark. Devi Sri Prasad scored the music, and his songs ended as disasters, but he was partially impressed with the background score. M Sukumar’s cinematography fits the film but is nothing great as such. The film is produced by Kaarthekeyen Santhanam under the banner Stone Bench Films.

- Second Half
Rathnam Movie Review
Rathanm starts well but very soon, the narration falls into an outdated template-based format. The first half has its moments, such as why goons are trying to kill Mallika, that keep us hooked in the first half. The first half has many action blocks that might engage action lovers. However, the film’s second half becomes a nightmare for the audience. The entire second half is filled with action, there is no emotional connection and the reason behind killing Mallika is not at all convincing.
Final Verdict:
Rathnam is an outdated commercial flick, but the film has its moments. Vishal has delivered a fine performance and he is too good in action sequences.
