Salaar OTT Release Date Netflix on This Date: Salaar Part I: Ceasefire is directed by KGF fame Prashanth Neel who made the immensely successful two-part KGF series. Salaar is the film inspired from Ugram directed by Prashant himself. The advance bookings of the film is creating new records in both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The film is being released in five languages–Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi. Salaar is expected to have a huge opening owing to the big names associated with the film. Besides Prabhas, who has turned into a ‘pan India’ star after Baahubali, the film also has Malayalam star Prithviraj playing a key role.
Prabhas plays the main character in Salaar, alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, and Jagapathi Babu in other significant roles. The movie Vijay Kiragandur produced is the first collaboration between director Prashanth Neel and Pan-Indian star Prabhas. On December 22, the film is set to be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.

On its opening day, the film grossed a worldwide total of 153.75 crores across all languages.
Salaar has achieved remarkable first-week collections, setting a new record outside of Rajamouli’s films. It has already surpassed Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, a non-SSR industry hit, by a significant margin. The film is poised to join the 200 crore club by the upcoming weekend.
