Raayan, Dhanush’s 50th film, has hit theaters and received mixed reviews. However, the film is now slated to enter the OTT arena.
Raayan created high expectations, but the film failed to meet them. This is Dhanush’s second directorial effort after Paa Paandi.
Raayan will premiere on Prime Video on August 23, 2024. This action drama will be offered in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
The film features Dhanush, Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, Nithya Menen, Aparna Balamurali, Amala Paul, SJ Suryah, Dushara Vijayan, Selva Raghavan, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Anikha Surendran, and others.
Dhanush directed the film, AR Rahman composed the music, and Om Prakash operated the camera. The film was produced by Kalanithi Maran under the label Sun Pictures.
