Guntur Kaaram Movie Review, Rating: “Guntur Kaaram,” released in 2024, is a Telugu action-drama film starring Mahesh Babu in a titular character called Venkata Ramana Reddy. He plays a notorious underworld kingpin in the city of Guntur. The film, directed by Trivikram Srinivas, also features Sreeleela as a journalist who falls in love with Ramana. Story:

The film revolves around Ramana Reddy played by Mahesh Babu, his mother Neglects him during the Childhood because of a small vilage fight episode b/w their families in the opening scene. Venkata Swamy (Prakash raj) who is a politician and played Grandfather role to Ramana Reddy (MB) character plays a negative shade character. He puts a proposal to Ramana Reddy to put an end card for the Mother and Son relation b/w Mahesh babu and Ramyakrishna to survive in the politics. Meanwhile, Ramana grapples with his own internal struggles with his Mother and waits for the Mothers Love till the Climax.

  • First Half of the film is very nice and no much negatives to talk about
  • Dialogues in First Half really amazing, Trivikram proved his Writing again in 1st Half

  • Guntur Karam filled with multiple Backstories and all of them are routine, No Impact Value
  • Sometimes we may feel there is no Heroine in the Film(No Impact of Sreeleela, Meenakshi characters)
  • BGM added nothing extra to the scenes elevation
  • Few Dialogues really Awkward and doesn’t suit for Mahesh babu due to of the Slang
  • Jagapathi Babu, Meenakshi, Vennela Kishore and few other characters added nothing to the film
