Prathinidhi 2 Review & Rating: Prathinidhi was one of the best films in Nara Rohit’s career. Though he did multiple genres of films, this political drama made him a recognizable actor. After Prathinidhi, he did quite films, a few did well and a few weren’t. However, after almost 6 years of gap, he is back with Prathinidhi 2. Except for genre, there is no connection with the first part of Prathinidhi. Well, this political drama teaser and trailer captivated and grabbed the audience’s attention. Amid the elections, the makers released the film today. Let’s get to know whether the film is worth seeing or not.

Prathinidhi 2 Review & Rating

Initially, Prathinidhi 2 seemed like a targeted political drama but later things unfolded, and it became a perfect political commercial drama. Prathinidhi 2 has some praiseworthy moments where the hero asks corrupt politicians about their governance. A few dialogues are whistle-worthy in the first half. Saptagiru comedy is okay for a while but after a while, it becomes a speedbreaker for the story. TV 5 Murthy Devagupthapu is the director of this intriguing political drama. He handled the film quite well, though he is a debut director. The second half has a lot of writing issues but overall, he succeeded in engaging the audience.

Prathinidhi 2 Movie Review

The film starts very well, everything is placed well, right from the characters’ establishments, to the plot establishment. The entire first half never gets boring with brilliant scenes, well-written dialogues, and comedy, but the big letdown is the second half. The entire second half has become a half-baked political drama. The CBI Investigation looks silly, and many scenes are written to make it a commercial film. There is no depth in the proceedings. Mahati Swara Sagar’s music and background score are not impressive, but Nani Chamidisetty’s cinematography is okay. The VFX could have been much better.

Final Verdict:

Finally, Prathinidhi 2 is a decent political drama but it has flaws. Nara Rohit has done a decent job, as he fits the role. Udaya Bhanu did a decent role, Sapthagiri was good, Sachin Khedekar did his best, Jisshu Sengupta and Ajay Ghosh also did their best and the rest of the characters did their best.
