Yatra 2 Movie Review & Rating: Yatra 2 is a semi biopic of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and it deals with the journey of Jagan during 2009 – 2019. It majorly focuses on how close Jagan went to the people during his walkathon and how deeply he connected with the masses at an emotional level. Director Mahi V Raghav has efficiently captured emotions of people after YSR’s demise and how Jagan realised his goal of walking down his father’s path. Yatra 2 is bankrolled by Three Autumn Leaves along with V Celluloids backed by Shiva Meka. Madhie is the cinematographer. The film will hit the screens worldwide on 8th February, 2024.

Story:
The film is a sequel to Yatra (2019); while the first film was based on the life of the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, the late YS Rajasekhara Reddy (played by Mammootty), the sequel will tell the story of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy (Jiiva), the current Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

- You cannot expect comedy or satairical comments on opponent leaders
- We found the film slow-moving, particularly in the second half, where it leaned towards a documentary style.
Yatra 2 Telugu Movie Review
The film exactly portrays the emotions in a heart touching manner. It depicts how YS Jagan played by Jiiva realises about the adoration and love people have developed towards his father, YS Rajasekhar Reddy played by Mammoottyy.
Yatra 2 is a decent watch for those interested in YSR and Jagan’s life and Andhra Pradesh politics after YSR death. Jeeva’s performance as Jagan Mohan Reddy and the portrayal of the padayatra remain the film’s strong points.

Yatra 2 is definitely a worth watching sequel film of this month. Not only YSRCP and Jagan Mohan Reddy fans also general audience should watch this film to know the reality behind the credibility in politics.
